I’m Launching a Web Comic

A New Adventure I’ve decided to take a break from writing fiction and shift my creativity toward something I’ve wanted to try for a long long time. I’ll be launching a web comic on November 1st of this year. In my younger days I would have said my dream was to produce a comic strip that would appear in newspapers. Something like one of my favorites, Calvin & Hobbes, Bloom County, and Far Side. Well, comic strips in that form don’t really exist anymore, at least not in newspapers. I started an Instagram account for my writing projects earlier this … Continue reading I’m Launching a Web Comic

Glazed Man & Rat Girl, THE BOOK TRAILER For the last few months of my life, every precious extra moment I’ve had has been devoted to putting together the video above. A Great Gift For Young Readers

Consider giving the young reader in your family a book he or she will absolutely love. My book, Glazed Man & Rat Girl is a chapter book with 100 illustrations. It’s full of humor and non-stop action. The response I’ve gotten over and over from parents is that their child enjoyed Glazed Man & Rat Girl thoroughly, reading it from cover to cover faster than they would normally read a book. Glazed Man & Rat Girl is not only for kids. Adults who like a good satire will also enjoy my book. It is essentially a spoof on all things “superhero”. I had a good time writing … Continue reading A Great Gift For Young Readers

Rat Girl & Glazed Man

Yesterday was National Superhero Day. What can I say? I was inspired to create a new image of my two favorite superheroes. DC comics fans might recognize the pose as being similar to one struck by a certain bat and a cat. No dis-respect to those two great comic book characters, nor the original artwork that is far above my abilities. I thought it might be fun to see what Glazed Man and Rat Girl would do with the pose. As you can see, they injected their own brand of super satire and made it all their own. I’d love to … Continue reading Rat Girl & Glazed Man

A Scene from Glazed Man & Rat Girl

Below are a few pages from my book Glazed Man & Rat Girl: The Origins. This scene is plucked right from the middle of the book, so here are a few details to bring you up to speed. 1. The villain, RoboCreep, is trying to make a getaway by flying upward into the sky. Our heroes are trying to stop him. Neither of them can fly, so they are hanging onto RoboCreep, who is actually a scientist named Caswell Creep wearing a robot suit. 2. Glazed Man and Rat Girl just met for the first time, a few pages earlier. … Continue reading A Scene from Glazed Man & Rat Girl
