My New Books are Published!

My two new books, Caged Animals and Escaped Animals have just been released! They are now available as paperbacks or e-books on Amazon. I’m extremely proud of the story told in these books (they’re parts 1 and 2 of a series called GRUNTS.) It took me two years to write it and close to another year to finalize them and get them out to the public. The other thing that I absolutely love about my books is the artwork. Yes, that’s my work too. I’m not a professional cover designer, but I think they both came out looking pretty darn … Continue reading My New Books are Published!

Glazed Man & Rat Girl WEBCOMIC is a Hit!

My new Webcomic, Glazed Man & Rat Girl has been in existence for only 9 months and its already building a huge following on Instagram. The input I’m receiving from fans is that they love it for four big reasons. 1. IT’S FUNNY. More and more people are looking for something light-hearted to laugh at these days when so much of our world feels sad and depressing. The webcomic, like the classic comics that I grew up on, can always be counted on to be positive and leave its readers smiling. 2. IT’S CLEAN. There are lots of new comics … Continue reading Glazed Man & Rat Girl WEBCOMIC is a Hit!

I’m Launching a Web Comic

A New Adventure I’ve decided to take a break from writing fiction and shift my creativity toward something I’ve wanted to try for a long long time. I’ll be launching a web comic on November 1st of this year. In my younger days I would have said my dream was to produce a comic strip that would appear in newspapers. Something like one of my favorites, Calvin & Hobbes, Bloom County, and Far Side. Well, comic strips in that form don’t really exist anymore, at least not in newspapers. I started an Instagram account for my writing projects earlier this … Continue reading I’m Launching a Web Comic

Why I Believe in Jesus

By Scott Cahan PART 1 – INTRODUCTION I am a follower of Jesus Christ, or to put it another way, I am a Christian in the true sense of the word, meaning one who identifies himself with the person and work of Jesus Christ. The purpose of this article is to lay out my reasoning for this belief. It is not my goal to force my beliefs on anyone else. That would be pointless because true Christianity cannot be forced. One becomes a Christian by choosing to do so. I simply want to state why I feel this religion is … Continue reading Why I Believe in Jesus

Big news! My new book, Grunts is now on Kindle Vella. What is Grunts and what is Vella? Answers are below. The New Book The name of my new book is Grunts. In the past I had it titled as Caged Animals and its sequel, Escaped Animals. All along I’ve wanted to combine my two books into one since that’s how they were written. Now, as a Vella, or serial novel, my story can be told the way it was meant to be, as one complete story. See below for a description of Grunts. The New Platform Kindle Vella is … Continue reading My New Book is on Kindle Vella!

It’s a story about characters who live in a world that has been stuck in a COVID-19 type of crisis for 20 or 30 years. What would our world be like if that were the case? Read my new story and find out. What can you expect … Continue reading Get My New Short Story for Free!

Glazed Man Voted #1

Glazed Man & Rat Girl is riding high at the top of the list, HILARIOUS KID’S BOOKS on Goodreads. This is a monumentous achievement for the not-so-bright but good hearted Glazed Man and his slightly crazy but fearless friend Rat Girl. Full disclosure, they won the number one spot with only four votes, but hey, that’s two better than the second place book. OK, so it’s not one of the more popular lists on Goodreads, that’s beside the point. The point is that they are number one and we’re going to celebrate as long as they are on top. Speaking … Continue reading Glazed Man Voted #1

The Laundry Monster and Plop

The Laundry Monster is one of the villains in my first book, Glazed Man & Rat Girl. It’s a rather unusual villain in that it’s not actually a person. It’s made up of Johnny Crumb’s old stinky laundry. It comes to life when Johnny tosses his radioactive socks on top of the pile. The Laundry Monster has never gotten as much press as the main villain, RoboCreep, but truth be told, I’ve always enjoyed it’s scenes in the book more than RoboCreep’s. I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s just how my warped brain works. Or, maybe it’s because it reminds … Continue reading The Laundry Monster and Plop
