The Laundry Monster and Plop

The Laundry Monster is one of the villains in my first book, Glazed Man & Rat Girl. It’s a rather unusual villain in that it’s not actually a person. It’s made up of Johnny Crumb’s old stinky laundry. It comes to life when Johnny tosses his radioactive socks on top of the pile. The Laundry Monster has never gotten as much press as the main villain, RoboCreep, but truth be told, I’ve always enjoyed it’s scenes in the book more than RoboCreep’s. I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s just how my warped brain works. Or, maybe it’s because it reminds … Continue reading The Laundry Monster and Plop

Glazed Man#2 Update

The new Glazed Man and Rat Girl book is well underway. I’m still in the writing phase and expect to be writing for several more months. I typically write first, then illustrate, then re-write, then re-illustrate. So, I’ve still got a long way to go on this new one, but after a few months off for the holidays and book marketing stuff, it feels good to  get back to writing. I’m very excited about the new story. I’ve had lots of requests and demands for a hint of what the next story line will be, so in order to keep … Continue reading Glazed Man#2 Update
