The New Godzilla movie will attack theaters on May 16th. At the bottom of this post is a trailer for the new movie, but first, let’s take a quick look at Godzilla over the last 59 years. He’s had a long and varied history of wreaking havoc against all manner of enemies from mankind to other giant monsters and even space aliens. He’s been our enemy and our friend. He’s been huge and he’s been gigantic. Check out the youtube video below by ortboys.
With modern computer graphics and hi-tech special effects, along with heavy demand from Godzilla purists to get it right, the new movie looks destined for greatness. Watch and see. And if you’ve just watched the video above, it will be fun to compare the old effects to the new one. We truly have come a long way.
