Book Cover Reveal for My New Book

I’m excited to unveil the cover of my new book, Caged Animals. I worked long and hard on it, trying to get it just right. I know I’m not being very humble here, but I have to say I love the way it turned out. Why shouldn’t I brag on my work. If it were someone else’s artwork I’d brag on it. And, the fact that I’m happy with it is a big deal because I’m the toughest customer I know. Many times in the course of designing my cover I was tempted to say, “that’s good enough,” but I always caught myself and kept striving for the very best that it could be. I wanted a simple design that would catch your eye and stir up enough emotion in the viewer and make them want to know more about the story. I believe my cover succeeds in that goal.

Update on the book: I’m in the final stages of book revisions and I hope to have it ready to be published by late spring of 2021. I’m working 2 jobs these days, and my writing time is very sparse, but I’m still plugging away. I’m bound and determined to get Caged Animals and it’s successor, Escaped Animals out as soon as I am able. Escaped Animals is already written too but it still needs to go through the editing and revision stages. Plus, I’ll need to work on that cover at some point. So, I still have lots of work to do, but it’s a big encouragement to me to have the cover ready to go.

Here is a brief summary of Caged Animals:

A group of teenagers are kidnapped and taken to another planet to become pets for a race of heartless alien beasts. The teens are treated like animals with no hope of escape. Will the young men and women give up and allow the brutal aliens to kill them one by one? Or, will they band together and find a way to survive against all odds?
